It is right that college graduates earn higher salaries than the lesswell-educated in the community. But they should also pay the full cost of theirstudy. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Some conclude that college students should bear total expenses for theirhigher learning on the generalization that college graduates usually receivehigher salaries for similar jobs than those without a college degree. We cannotdeny that higher level of education, indeed, does associate with better income.Still, built on such fact alone, the conclusion remains questionable.
The whole argument in question rests on an assumption that it is always thecase that people with higher education make more money than those lesswell-educated. But salary or income is, in most cases, based on contributionsmade by employees to companies or organizations in which they work for.Statistics in the labor market indicate that people with professional trainingtend to find jobs easier than college graduates do and that blue-collar workerswho do not hold college degrees are becoming the hotties in the labor market.Employers prefer to hire and pay more to highly skilled and specially trainedpeople rather than fresh college graduates. In the auto industry, for instance,skilled technicians make two or three times more than their college educatedcounterparts who make the average salaries in other companies. And it is widelyaccepted that people’s income is determined more by talent, hard work, andwillingness to take risks than solely by certain qualifications such as collegeeducation. Otherwise, the unemployment rate of college graduates would not beincreasing every year and the rule of supply and demand will lose much of powerin controlling the labor market. Admittedly in some knowledge extensive fieldsuch as research, teaching, and practice of law the labor force are primarilyconsists of highly educated professionals. But such people make up only afraction of the labor market and are thus unrepresentative of the wholeemployment in general.
Considering the goal of education, we find that it is even more problematicfor the country to throw all the responsibility of financing college educationto college students. The goal of higher education of a nation is to improve andstrengthen the general level of intellectual and professional capacity of itslabor force, thereby increasing the competency of the nation in the globaleconomy. As tax payers, parents all contributes to the education system andcountry in various ways. It is only reasonable and necessary that the countrygives some forms of financially assistance to students to ease the burden ofrising education costs. Such help should go not only to students from needy orimpoverished families but also to outstanding students from affluentbackgrounds. Doing so can significantly boost the motivation of children frommillions of families to engage in higher level of study. It is understandablethat the general quality of people in a country will improve and its economywill benefit both now and in years to follow.
If the burden of supporting children’s higher education is dumped on parentsand students, thousands of brilliant students will be deprived of chances topursue their academic inspiration. Among those who suffer would definitely befuture great scientists, business managers, artists and statesmen. The loss willbe disastrous and irreversible.
In conclusion, the idea that students should also pay the full cost of theirstudy is wrong and harmful because it is wrong to assume that higher educationnecessarily equalize high income. Moreover, it is in the best interest of anation to take responsibility in financing college education so that the goal ofhigher education will be better met.

A person should never make an important decision alone.

From my everyday experience and observation I can claim that discussion of animportant decision with other people bring many benefits. In the followingparagraphs I will give my reasons to defend this statement.
First of all, different people have different opinions. In order to make theright choice people should discuss every possible decision and its consequences.Making an important decision alone can bring many negative aspects. Forinstance, a person can reveal his selfishness or impatience and the consequencesof that decision can affect many people in the future. I think that a good andwise decision can be born only in discussion because people can share theirknowledge and experiences a look at the problem from different sides andaspects.
Second of all, I think that making decision alone is unacceptable especiallyfor a company. Imagine that a chief makes the decision about increasing aproduction line without discussing it with his employees. In this case a part ofcompany's profit will be spending on extended purchase of raw materials. So,share holders will be left without dividends. This decision may lead to gettingrid of company's shares and as a result of this declining the value of a companyas a whole.
To sum up, I think that a person should always consult his relatives orcolleges when making an important decision to avoid possible mistakes.

I am from Russia. From my opinion the most beneficial discovery for people inour country has been the discovery of the outer space. Russia is the firstcountry that launched a spacecraft with a man on the board into the space. Thisevent was a big step towards the new discoveries and brought many benefits notonly for people in my country. Bellow I will give my reasons to support myanswer.
First of all, all humankind made a huge step towards the mystery of ourcreation. Scientists had the opportunity to do the new research and experiments.Many new discoveries were made on the boards of the spacecrafts in the outerspace. People from all over the world watched these events. Many books with realcolorful photos were written about the beginning of the space exploration.Nowadays we have a big station called "Mir" in the outer space created on thebase of collaboration USA and Russia. Many people work there doing amazingexperiments.
Second of all, the world became "smaller". People learnt how to exchangeinformation very quickly by use of satellites. Television is broad-casted allover the world by use of satellites. Here in Houston I can watch Russianprograms. People got the opportunity to exchange news very quickly.
To sum up, I believe that space exploration will bring much more benefits inthe future and someday we will learn what is beyond our current galaxy.
